Design in a Day

This package is ideal if you want to venture further into your design dreams but need an expert to lead the way. I’ll help you navigate your project and show you what to do and how to do it in a practical one-day shopping event (with lunch on me!). This concentrated time together will help eliminate the endless back and forth deliberations that can happen over a longer period of time and prevent the fees from adding up. It’s amazing what we will be able to accomplish in a single day of serious decision-making!

I will send you my Design Questionnaire to complete prior to meeting. This on-line form will help you define your design style as well as give me a greater understanding of your goals so I can ensure that our time together is well-organized and efficient. 

Then, after a two-hour on-site consultation, we’ll go on a five-hour shopping trip. Depending on your project, here are some ideas of what we could tackle together:

 

• Select cabinets, surfaces, hardware, plumbing, etc. for an upcoming kitchen or bath remodel. 

• Choose all-new family room furniture and repurpose existing pieces.

• Refresh your master bedroom from top to bottom. 

What you can expect:

• Review of your Design Questionnaire

• A two-hour on-site preliminary consultation, budget discussion, measurements and list of purchases

• Up to 5-hour shopping trip to furniture stores and/or showrooms

• Guidance on furniture and accessory purchases, art, fabric, materials and whatever else is needed to complete your project*

• One-hour follow-up consultation after install

 

* In some situations, actual purchases made during our shopping trip may be eligible for my trade discount.

Duration: Up to 8 hours. Lunch is included and doesn’t count as design time. 

Price: $1,599 payable in advance and applies to one room only.
